Justin M. Welch Memorial Scholarship Foundation, Inc. honors the memory of Justin M. Welch by recognizing a graduating student-athlete who exemplifies the values that Justin lived every day — leadership, dedication, sportsmanship, and character both on and off the field.
Eligibility Requirements
Must be a graduating senior.
Must be a member of at least one varsity athletic team.
Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Must demonstrate positive leadership, outstanding sportsmanship, respect for others, and dedication to team and community.
Selection Criteria
Leadership: Leads by example, motivates teammates, displays maturity and responsibility.
Sportsmanship: Upholds fairness, respect, and humility in both victory and defeat.
Commitment: Shows dedication to personal growth and team success.
Character: Upholds honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
Community: Involved in volunteerism, community service, or making a positive impact beyond athletics.
